About a week since I LAST I had sex, I took a pregnancy test (my period comes every 20 days and it was around the 23 day mark) but it proved negative. About 5 days later I took a second test (being paranoid) but it said positive. About 2 days later I got my period along with very painful cramping so I took a couple tylonel 3's (I haven't had that bad of cramping in years.) The thing with that period is that (sorry for about the details here) hardly anything showed up on my pad- just spotting, but the weird thing is as soon as I sat on the toilet to go pee, blood would leak out (for the first 2 days.) This period lasted for around 12 days (although pretty light for the most part.) So I had a period, and I have no symptoms of pregnancy, therefore,I can't be pregnant, right? Just a false positive?

Go see a doctor. I have no way of being able to tell you.

False positives are so rare that they are considered nearly impossible. Do not be alarmed, but a high percentage of pregnancies end in spontaneous abortions. It is the body rejecting the fertilized egg because, well because God and mother nature knows best. Most women don't even know they are pregnant when this happens. Since you took the test so early I would venture to guess that this is what has occurred.
Go see your OB/GYN and tell him/her what happened. Just because this happens to a woman once does not indicate they will have problem pregnancies in the future. As I mentioned earlier, this is a normal biological occurrance.

Strange. There can be no false positives. The only way is if you read the results after 15 minutes, when a line automatically shows up no matter what. If you took the test and there was a line after the 3 minutes, you must be pregnant. I have heard of women who have a period before, so it is possible. You should take another test and see what it says.

false positives are VERY rare... if you had bleeding you could have had an early miscarriage or it could have been one of those rare false + My advice is to go to a Dr and explain to him/her what you explained here
