Possible Pregnancy?

Quick question.

My last period was july 14th and I was due to get it again on august 14th,I am currently about 8 days late and I was wondering if I should start considering taking a test.I've been late many times in the past due to weather changes and what not but I dont know,something is telling me that something's not right this time around.
The last few days i've had a few stomach cramps here and there,and im a little queasy,I pretty much feel the biginning symptomes of my period,but I read somewhere that that could also be a sign of pregnancy.
So my question is,how many days do I need to be late in order to get myself tested.And well at this point,do I need to start worrying??

I've never had unprotected sex,but the last time I did have it we used thoes "thin" condom,so im afraid it might have broke or something.

Worrying? It's late enough to test -find out & then decide if you want to worry...

The new at-home tests are incredibly accurate very early in the pregnacy. Go ahead and take the test but if you get a negative result and don't start your cycle within a few days, run the test again.
The tests register the presence of the Human Growth Hormone that is only present during pregnancy. Sometimes it can take longer than just 8 days to show up.
If, you get a negative result, then you start your period and you don't wish to be pregnant now....please do something to prevent pregancy! If you aren't looking to get pregnant now then consider this a wake up call. If it all goes the other way and it's what you were hoping for...then Congrats!

Are you having unprotected sex? If so, then you could definitely be pregnant. Many pregnancy symptoms are the same as period symptoms such as breast tenderness, fatigue, increased or decreased appetite, cramping, back aches, etc. The earliest a test can be taken accurately should be around the time your period is due. Since it has been 8 days past your expected period then you can test now. Try First Response. Good luck!

dont put any value in symptoms as they could be a number of things. You can test up to 5 days before your period with some tests so the fact that you are late you should be able to get a result with a pregnancy test. Then you will know if you need to worry or not... Good Luck

You definitely can get a pregnancy test kit from any retail pharmacy and do it. Although the package will say use the first urine collection in the morning, you can do it anytime during the day. JUST DO IT! If it is negative, and you still don't have your period after another week, you probably want to go see your doctor.

Take a test!

Then make an appointment with OBGYN to get you on a regular cycle. Something else could going on and it's just better to know what it is for future reference.

You need to take the test because the sameway that you are feeling was the sameway that I felt and I didn't know if i was pregnant I thought that my period was about to come on and I also thought that i had the flu. Take the test before it's too late and then you miscarry please take the test.

It would not hurt to take a test as soon as you miss your period by about a week....you have nothing to lose really. I would take a test asap, and then let things go from there.

i think you should go take the test. Because my lil sister miss hers 2 moths in i took her to take her test and she is now 6months . her baby is due Dec28,2006. so if i was you i would go get test for it.

it took a month after I missed my period to get a positive reading. You can take one now just to see.
