USA is Washington D.C.
Canada is Ottawa.
Australia is Canberra.
Japan is Tokyo.
I surmise from the screenname of nubianprincess that you may want Egypt's capital which is Cairo. Not sure if this is what you are looking for but listing all the capitals of the world is to tedious. What you can do is go to www.cia.gov and search for the country. Then look up the capital there.

OK to the person who said Richmond- The Confederacy hasn't been a nation for over 140 years. Seriously what Nation are you talking about? I mean why not look on a MAP if you want to know a Nation's capital. Most will tell you. In Italy it is Rome. In Greece it is Athens. In France it is Paris. In Spain it is Madrid. In Russia it is Moscow. I am not naming them all.

Well, my nation's capital is Ottawa, Ontario.

If you are asking what a Nation's Capital is, then it is where the federal government hangs out and makes decisions. Here it is where the Parliament (federal government) meets.

At this link you will find the Capital Cities of many of the world's nations. It doesn't give any regions/states/provinces, just the name of the cities.

OK, I rarely give people a hard time about their questions on here. But, how old are you? Are we helping you with your homework?
This type of question can easily be looked up on-line in any search engine or in an encyclopedia. Try Google, it's great.
The answer is Washington D.C.
Unless of course you aren't asking about the United States, then you would have to be more specific.
