I have a lot of experiance with Geocities. You can find a link to it on the Yahoo page because Yahoo is affliated with geocities. It is really easy to use and comes with a webpage building wizard so you do not have to fool with HTML unless your advanced and want to. Geocities offer alot of help to people who are novices at building a webpage and comes with a lot of other things that you can use to dress up your websights. Geocities offer a good amount of storage space so that you can add pictures, files, or music.

I recommend yahoo GeoCities for beginners.
You get to learn the basics of html code.
It is VERY easy.
