This is slow night at the grill!!!! Opened a can of baked beans, seasoned with a little bit of BBQ sauce. Boiled some Brats and will grill then in about an hour.. Made a big leaf lettuce salad with tons of chopped veggies. Some red grapes for desert....

Steak and spinach. It is too hot outside to barbecue so we will cook it this way: Coat the steak with pepper, sea salt, garlic and olive oil. Get a skillet as hot as you can. Sear the steak on each side for 2 minutes. Then put it on a cookie sheet in a preheated 325 degree oven for 15 minutes or to taste. We like ours medium rare. It is really yummy!

Marinated chicken/veggie shish-kababs on the grill.
Marinate in good ol italian dressing.
Veggies used, red and yellow peppers, zucchini, mushrooms, grape tomatoes, vidalia onion.

Side dish, red potatoes (also grilled)

Blueberry martini for dessert
Blueberry Stoli-- shaken and put in a martini glass yummmmm

Will start with some gazpacho made from veggies given to me from students in my aqua classes. Then I am preparing Salmon with a lavender glaze, roasted Gold Yukon Potatoes and roasted zucchini. We will end with a fresh spinach salad made with walnuts and feta cheese.

Yummy and healthy all in one....come on over!
