Song was comfortably numb but I think all their songs are awesome and in a league of their own.

When it comes to music, Pink Floyd is and always will be unparalelled. You are correct in stating that they are Musical Geniuses. They created a sound all their own and ran with. Their fans are true fans and their music is never dissappointing. If you put on a damn good set of headphones and listen to the studio album version of comfortably numb, it is amazing how many instruments the incorporated into that song. The wall album was also completely backed by the London Philharmonic. I am a huge fan and always will be. They are not about commercialized crap, they write the lyrics and music that they see fit and then produce it. They do not jump around on stage like a bunch of crystal induced idiots. Their light show is phenomenal and their live preformance is just as good if not better than their studio albums. In my opinion, I think they are the greatest Rock band ever.

Why yes, Pink Floyd is amazing!!! I was 14 when I locked myself in a room with my 2 best friends and watched The Wall back to back to back for almost 24 hours straight. It changed my life!!!! i have been a fan for over 21 years.

I am glad to hear that you have arrived in the "good taste" music crowd. If you like Pink Floyd, you should rent Another Brick In The Wall, it's an extrememly trippy movie totally based around their music off the album of the same name.

Just how young are you, again???? These guys have been playing for almost 40 years.... If you just happened to discover them, then you just MUST go to the music store right this moment and get a copy of the Dark Side of the Moon (their best album). No, dont download it, dont buy it from amazon, it will take to much time, just go get the damn record!

I hardly went to a party in high school that didn't feature the "Dark Side Of The Moon" album. Yes...ALBUM! I am THAT old.
