Well, the reason you get pimples is becuz of the oil on your skin, if you dry it out with an astringent, you think, now...all is good. Well your face may be good for a while, but then yyour face feels too dry, and it starts producing even MORE oil than before, that is why after you clean your face and use an astringent, you should put mousturizer on your face. That way, your face is without oil, no pimples, and it won't feel the need to produce any oil!
