If you're having that much trouble finding the words, then stick to writing music. The words should come to you if you were meant to be a lyrisist.

Nobody can answer you properly because we don't know you.
I say, put a list of topics on equal size paper and put them in a hat. Draw a different topic each time you feel like writing. One or more topics will draw your attention and then you will be more comfortable with different topics.
Don't try to do this scientifically, because you are an artist, not an accountant!

After spending some quality time with the great legends of blues, I can tell you the best lyrics come from your belly; right in the center, where you keep all your pain. Jake & I got some of our best material after the Penguin beat us within an inch of our lives.

It depends on what you're interested in.

What does the music remind you of? Grab one thought and write it down, and before you know it, you'll compose an entire song.

...We all know that doesn't work.

The artificial method I use - grab some peanut butter cups and a FLAT can of cherry cola. It has to be flat. Wolf down ALL of the peanut butter cups and then drink the entire can, and boom.

You're hyper, and to me, hyper songs are the best. :D

this will solve your problem. the real deep things that YOU think about happen at random moments so you need to be ready to capture these emotions when you exoperience them.

carry around a small notepad and whenever you feel happy, sad, depressed, angry..... write down some words and you'll see a song jump on to the page. good luck

a recent or past relationship
how you feel at the moment ( just sit down and put words together- you can put them into sentences later)
when you write the music how are you feeling? put that to words and there you go
