I usually have a good instinct about these things, and if he IS cheating, he is hiding it well. It just seems that he is working late an awful lot, and the girl in the upstairs apartment seems to appear everytime he steps outside and dissapears as soon as I come out there with him.

Don't make it obvious that you wanna know unless you been feeling it for a long time. Its never good to acuse. Maybe one day instead of asking him to have lunch go up to his job and suprise him, or just have a conversation about it, and if he asks what makes you bring this up then say because I would never want this to happen to us. Maybe he'll think and come clean, or share his feelings on whats going on.

Usually when a guy is cheating he will shower a lot more than he usually does. He will tend to not be as interested in sex anymore and he starts becoming overly-critical of you..what you do or do not do what you wear..stuff like that. He picks fights or lays blame on you for things that are seemingly trivial.
You could point out the coincidence of the woman showing up all the time when he's alone. Maybe you can tell something from his response?

Ask the girl in the apartment upstairs if she is having an affair with your husband, and if she says no, then ask her if she would have one with you.

i would follow him just to see for myself, and when you do see them together make sure they see you , but just act like it dint bother you, then pack up his crap and throw him out. that would mess with his brain.
