I don't have a better life than my Parents!
My Mom had a dress shop and later Rockshop.
She was successful in everything she chose to
do. Yet for some reason even though I got lots
of education.. Unsuccessful at get a Job cause I don't have the experience. Can't Open my own business cause I don't have the money! Does a person Have to Lie in this world to get ahead? The only way I know to get ahead is to take one from the grave yard ( a little pun just for fun)! I'm terrible at lieing!

Most people I know have a different life than their parents, I don't know if better is the word to quantify it.

We have better communications, sometimes better educations and jobs, BUT, there are things we've lost as well. Most parents grew up in a time of less violence, fewer diseases etc.

I'd say that it is the wish of every parent that their children have better lives and I do think most do, but there are a lot of neglected children of parents who themselves were not neglected.

So in that vein, yeah, I know a few.

Of course. With there existing tougher competition for jobs these days, people of my generation have it harder than did my parent's generation. Plus, some people are generally lazy and/or spoiled, which leads to them being worse off than their parents. And some people are just unlucky.

But at the end of the day, who's to say whether one's life is "better" relative to their parents? Some people may be in a worse financial/social/sexual/whatever position, but are happier with their lives.

It depends how you define better! Financially I am not as well of as they were, I have Cystic Fibrosis and many medical expenses to live with. I have a great walk with my Lord and savior Jesus Christ, and a strong Christian marriage of 25 years along with two great sons who also know the Lord. I feel I am more blessed than my parents were in many ways. They both dealt with divorce, alcoholism and other issues I do not have.

Most good parents strive to provide a better life for their children than they had. My kids have a better life than I had, I had a better life than my parents, etc. Unless children are horribly mistreated and abused, I'd have to say lots of people have better lives than their parents.

it all depends on a situation kids can have accidents and then their lives are marred, they can also opt for a life full of vice and drugs and thats going to give them a worse life, kids can be born with defects and suffer all their lives, no one can predict whose life is going to be better than their parents for fortunes and life can change , in a few seconds, yes we can say to day kids are more exposed to dangers than their parents as the world has advanced and along with advancement came its miss use as well

No one has a better life than anyone else. We all have different challenges to face. Some with other people, some with money, some with themselves.

I was going to ask the question "Does any have a worse life than my parents?"

Absolutely!
It's usually because their parents did not instill a work ethic, or incorporate a sense of responsibility into their upbringing.
Just my own observation, I've done no scientific studies.
Cool question
