He admitted it and is arrested.
Everyone is upset and wants revenge for a child who has lost their life in such a horrible way as JonBenet.
Truth is, if the investigation in any way would have found evidence against her parents, they would have been arrested right after her body was found.
The Ramsey's are just a much a victim as JonBenet was.
Their name and reputation have been slandered for 10 years and now it is going to get cleared right along with the investigating team at the time.
We need to learn to trust the judgment of the law enforcement and not those who are selling wild slanderous story's for money.

Thoughts? The girl has been dead for years. Right now at this moment someones little girl is missing, tied up about to be raped and murdered. Right now, at this moment. Yet instead of giving that story the kind of immediate attention it requires the media is still talking about Ramsey. Even though they know the guy who confessed probably didn't do it, they are on the story like vultures.
What happened to that poor little girl is horrible. And i'm horrible for saying this but I don't really care who killed her anymore. I'm sorry that her life of being a rich white blonde beauty queen was cut short, but it's time to move on. It's over.
Around the time JonBenet was found dead wasn't there a missing black girl? And yet nobody gave that poor little girl (who could have still been alive) any attention. They were focused on the already dead, rich, white, blonde girl.
Missing white woman syndrome. The biggest case of it I know of. I try not to be bitter but like I said, right now someone could use the help of media attention. But instead the media is obsessed with the poor little rich white girl who was murdered 10 YEARS AGO. Basically, if you're a male, or a non-white woman, you'd better hope a white woman doesn't go missing around the same time you do. Because you'll be screwed as far as getting any help from the media. You'll get a quick minute on the local news that's about it.

The tragic death of a child, followed by the most unbelievable investigation. A media frenzy that declared the parents guilty beyond any doubt and ten years later we found ourselves pondering the same question again. Who killed JonBenet?
The initial investigation was handled poorly. Investigators felt intimidated by the media, so they gave them anything for them to write whatever was already on their minds. The collective minds were lead to believe the parents killed their child, and that idea had to be nurtured, and so it was.
I will always remember an interview just after Lady Di died in France, in which Mr. Walsh (America's Most Wanted) related a similar story.
A child who was murdered, the media accused the parents, the parents divorced and several years later a convicted child molestor confessed to the crime.
A tragic death, an incompetent first investigation, unprofessional media. It just seems that justice was on vacation ten years ago, and probably still is.

I don't think John Mark Karr did it. I believe he's outsmrted the media, law enforcement authorities and the morons at Homeland Security. Probably fearful of facing charges in Thailand, Karr decided it was better to get a free trip back to the States, courtesy of the U.S. taxpayers. He'll be tried, found not guilty, set free to molest and rape other little girls, write a book about his experiences that becomes a blockbuster movie, and retires in Sri Lanka with millions of dollars. Better that than stuck in a Thai jail. I think the real killer is still roaming the streets, and we may never know who (s)he is until - or unless - there's a deathbed confession. -RKO-

I stopped reading tabloid newspapers altogether because they kept accusing family members of being involved. I suspected all along they were looking for a man over age 30, or at least they needed to be looking for one. Very, very, very sad case. I hope we get even tougher on pornographers with cases like this and the more recent one of Destiny Norton in Utah and other places.

I don't think he did it. He's just some kind of a nut. Mr. Bojangles is right. The media should put more effort into finding missing children.
