Ok We have a 14 team League-You can protect one guy each year, never the same guy twice. This year there are about 10RBs protected, 3 WR and my pick? I cant decide between Culpepper and R Droughns. I know He Droughns isnt the best back but with 10RB already taken, and me at the 5th pick, if I dont get one of the last few at #5 in the first rd (looking like MIA, BUF, TB RB's) I could be screwed by time 2nd rd comes back to me! I do have 2 2nd rd picks! anyway who would you protect? Culpepper or Droughns? Culpepper used to be one the TOP QB's coming off injury and now in Miami? Good WR and TE but is he worth protecting when I can get another QB in any round after the 2nd that would probably be comparable! anyway weigh in please....the league is waiting on my protected player, and I keep going back and forth! ugh

If you can, go post the question here in the Q/A section, you should get some responses pretty fast.

I'll think on it more and edit this post shortly.

PS Suggs wasnt traded.

EDIT:

Yeah not great choices for keeper. But The gambler in me says keep Cpep, of the two if he works out you will have a stud on your hands. if droughns works out you will have a run of the mill RB.
Also you are likely to have some RB's as good as droughns still be there when you pick in the 5th spot.

Picking Culpepper is kind of taking a leap of faith...you are depending on him returning to his 2004 form, despite him sucking last season and suffering from injuries. In Droughns case, I think he's overrated and not a very good fantasy pick for this year, especially with the sub-par offensive line of the browns.
Between these two, I would say protect Culpepper. However, I ask you to check all the rankings around the web, and see if there is a better choice available. Culpepper and Droughns are not worth protecting, so I would highly recomend seeking and protecting a more valuable player if possible.

If you have to protect one, I'd say Culpepper.. but I'd throw them both back into the bin and see what you get with the draft.

you're precise Corey that is 8 gamers they could preserve, a minimum of in the 1996 boost draft it quite is the way it became. yet those are the 7 i might want to preserve, i imagine the Pistons are literally not faraway from being sturdy and those adult adult males i might want to need to save round. i might want to need to save the more youthful sturdy gamers first and maximum helpful. Ben Wallace is on the verge of retirement any and something else are both older gamers or unproven. Detroit Pistons secure: Brandon Knight Tayshaun Prince Greg Monroe Andre Drummond Rodney Stuckey Jonas Jerebko Will Bynum Pistons accessible: Austin Daye Kim English Corey Maggette Charlie Villanueva Ben Wallace Kyle Singler Khris Middleton Slava Kravtsov

Protect Droughns! With Lee Suggs traded, he'll get all the carries and it's easier to pick up a productive QB.

good luck!
