Metroid Movie?

I read somewhere that there was a possibility that someone could be making a movie out of the famed "Metroid" game. Is this true?

They were making a metroid movie but they pulled the plug. I heard that they are starting to make another one....and dude a legend of zelda movie would spell the end of the world.

Yeah. There's a chance that the movie might follow the Prime series or a whole new story. However, no producers are picking it up.

how did you find out about that? you know what would be cool is if someone made a Legend of Zelda movie
