Absolutely! It's all around you.
Just look at nature, even your own human body.

From a simple mathematical formula you can create a beautiful afghan or crocheted blanket. Or a computer program to create a colorful world on your PC. The only limit is your mind, and just how creative you can push it.

The human body is proportioned into the number 5 or pi, just check out http://goldennumber.net/body.htm, it's really fascinating how it all comes together. Even a leaf from a tree can be construed into a formula, broken down by numbers.

Origami is just yet another example of art and calculated folds to create 3 dimensional art.

Just because you can't see an abstract idea like mathematics, does not mean it is not around you. There is no such thing as a line in the real world, yet we convey it everyday in art and just general speech. You can see the line on the horizon, but you and I know that the horizon does not just drop off at the end. You can draw a line on a piece of paper and say it's a line, but if you look closely it's just remnants of lead in 3 dimensions on a piece of paper that actually has a weight and size, even thickness to it.

So simply put how can you not see the mathematical beauty of even a thickness of paper, and the distance of the line drawn upon the paper?

Just search the web, there is so much information on the topic, it stems from Da Vinci to NASA.

The two can not coincide as absolute creativity requires the use of one's imagination as well as insights and talents. Whereas mathematical perfection doesn't give room or leeway for one's interpretation. It has to be precise and accurate. No error in calculation is allowed here.
