Not only immoral,

but new studies are showing that doing tht actually hurts the chances of the marriage lasting.

By living together, you are expirencing all of the joys and fun of a new relationship, after marriage there is nothing "New" to carry you though the tough times.

Peace! And Good Luck!

It's a tough one! If you believe in God, then yes, according to His teachings it is immoral. But if you two are planning on marrying, then its just a case of doing things a little out of order.
i didnt live with my husband before we got married, but that had more to do with the fact that I liked being able to go to my own place if i felt like it. When we got married and moved in together, it was one more adjustment we had to make. Sometimes i think it would have been better if we lived together for a while before we got married, but at the time i didn't want to burden our wonderful relationship with the realities of domestic life.

No I see nothing wrong with it but remember one thing living together is a lot different then being married. Some people do change with marriage.

Immoral, but most importantly stupid. Try it once and see where it gets you. It can mess up your life good. If you don't want to marry her, why would you want her around all the time? She will take your for a ride and use you for cheap rent. When she finds someone better she will move on. Don't get me started about her "accidentally" getting pregnant!.

me personally I don't think so. Actually I think it is better to do that because then you can test the waters to see if you two can be able to live with each other and it also gives you a chance to get used to living with each other. I moved in with my boyfriend before we got married and I think it was the best thing I did because we to know each other's living habits and such. And this way if you two aren't able to live with each other then you can separate without paperwork, court etc.

If you follow God's guidance... yes, it's wrong to fornicate and live with the a person prior to marriage. If you follow the World's standards and practices "who cares, it works for me" concept then..... no.

If you're asking the question... then you already know in your heart that it's wrong. God placed that feeling of doubt in you so you will feel uneasy with doing wrong things... listen to that "still small voice" and walk away from that situation. Have the courage to do what you know in your heart and mind so few are able to.. and that would be...... "The Godly Thing".... So don't do it,. Don't shack up prior to marriage.

I think it depends on the situation. My huband and I had gotten engaged, and wanted to get married immediatly, but his sister had been planning her wedding for a year and we did not want to do it before she did. He had a house and when it sold, it did not make any sense for him to move out, then move again when we got married so he moved in with me and we lived together for a year. We have been married for over seven years now and have two children. Now, I do think it is wrong to do it over and over again with different people.

Well, I lived with my husband for 18yrs. Never lived with him till we were married. Whew!! What a mistake.
I now am divorced. I live with my boyfriend, and I love it. Everything seems so simple this way.

Alot of people are going to tell you no, but I'm a Christian and I believe the bible, which says it is. God doesn't say these things to "ruin our fun", but to protect us. All sorts of harm can come from this...pregnancy, being deserted, financial disaster. I don't mean to sound all doom and gloom, but if you are asking the question, your heart is trying to tell you something.
