BARE ESCENTUALS! :)
It is AMAZING - it looks like your skin has no makeup. You won't break out with it on - you can even sleep with it on (not that I recommend it) Just try it - also there should be a how-to dvd in the kit. I've seen it at Ulta - those kits usually sell out. It should come with Warmth (which isn't a bronzer - but it does give you that outdoorsy look) So far the stuff is amazing, I've converted almost all the ladies that I work with to use Bare Minerals. If you don't like it - check with Ulta on their money-back policy. I highly think that you will not need to return it. It has been the best investment that I've made on this makeup - and it DOES NOT Expire! I've been using it for 2 years and I wish I had started when I was your age - because who knows what sort of effect that the chemicals in foundations and pressed cosmetics has had on my skin.
As for the color that you choose - make sure you have an Ulta personnel help you out. The colors are pretty forgiving - so if you tan easily in the summer, the color you choose will still work - just make sure to blend on your neck. Good luck and I know you will turn into a believer!

i have oily skin, and have delt with this problem for years. I can definitely recomend a pressed powder that will help shinyness, and it is just the best. MAC blot powder. It doesn't pile on, looks natural, but absorbs oil. I love it. Anyway, under it I use Persciptives concealer, it is a new one in a little silver cirlce compact (the only one like that in Perscriptives line). Sorry I can't remember the name, but it is fabulous. You need to put on some sort of moisturizer first, but it is amazing. If you do a little moisturizer (oil-free if you want), then the Perscriptives concealer, and then the MAC pressed powder, you'll be ready to go! REally, sounds like a lot, but try it, it's a fab combo! Good luck!

Mary Kay s one of the best but not all of us have oddles of money to spend on make up I find most cover girl products are good but in general you want something that is oil free and feels light when you put it on you shouldn't feel like your wearing saran wrap on your skin or a mask as your skin needs to breathe

I work for a dermatologist. Neutrogena is the best, they have a pressed powder called Healthy Defense, I think. It covers amazingly, and doesn't look or feel heavy. It also is very healthy for your skin, and like all Neutrogena products it won't break out your skin! :)

Unfortunately it's trial and error. What works great for one person will get a reaction from another. Mary Kay makes my face itch. The consultant had never heard of that happening to anyone. The only thing I can recommend is find an acne regimen that works for you and use it religiously.

Make up really isn't the culprit unless your not washing it off at night.
Drink plenty of water. Everyone says 8, but 5 is enough cuz you get water from other sources too.
But I use MAC studio fix, cuz it doesn't feel like you have a mask on.

I *love* Loreal Infallible liquid foundation!
It covers really well when you get a doozie. Also, I have extremely sensitive skin that breaks out easily... but my skin has never looked better. Great stuff!
