I agree, that WAS a dive.
Anyway I've just heard that Malouda is going to represent France in the diving competition in Beijing.
France have high hopes of a Gold Medal!

A objective scored from a penalty, compared to at least one scored from 30 yards, or one resembling Maradona's weaving previous the entire protection, is on the right of the day, a objective. so that you could not fault France from progressing, because their aims got here from the spot. I placed a large gamble on the draw for the Portugal/France semi-very last. yet i'm not sore about it. It became a visit, no matter if Henry fell theatrically or not, is beside the point. further, even as Matterazi brushed hostile to Malouda contained in the most suitable, a penalty appeared very harsh yet this is what makes football exciting, the controversies. And those type of issues even themselves up, France were given a 'tender' penalty yet even as Malouda became back presented down contained in the 2d 1/2, the referee did not award it. France beat Italy on penalty kicks in 1998 and in Euro 2000, snatched the trophy from them with a late equaliser and an early golden objective. yet this time round, woman success determined it became time for Italy to have her percentage and she duly obliged contained in the penalty-shootout. All their heartbreak of the previous is consigned to the 'dustbin of heritage', with this victory. France had her percentage, now this is her turn to ensure how others felt, even as she received.

My gosh... The diving in Football is ridiculous! There needs to be more penalties, cards and even fines for diving... Then maybe FIFA can get a handle on it. I saw the play and I think it was a good call. There were a number of plays that could have gone either way. That is the way Football is...

The penalty was valid Henry was pulled down in the box, Buffon nearly batted it away. High drama, no matter - the best team won.

Dikk, I'm sorry but you have to change your name because you are starting to sound like one.

Drogba played for La Cote d'Ivoire. Handsome man too. Gasp.

Malouda is the one you are trying to turn into the aquatic sports, I have replayed the tape and he was fouled.

Zidane's thoughtful "panenka" was the best ever seen only to be performed by a maestro.

Why are you still mad about that? Is the entire country going to be pissed off for four years?

I guess that wouldn't be much different than the last 40...

i wouldn't necessarily call it a cheat, because the ref was the one who made the call...but i do think it was a bad call...france shouldn't have gotten that PK.

What, are you sore losers still harping on the final game? Italy won, France lost, get over it and get on with your lives.
