If you can call a friend or classmate, do that - if not, go to school early tomorrow and see if you can find someone to fill you in. Man! I've been in your shoes a time or two!

I suppose you're supposed to write it down somewhere so you won't forget it. In my school, we were provided with something known as an Agenda, where we'd write our homework daily. Now, I never really used mine because I didn't have a hard time remembering what I had for homework, but I suggest you keep one and pick up a habit of writing in it daily.

As for your paper, I'd suggest you attempt to pull it off. Do some research about physical maps and what they're used for, talk about what this and that means and how physical maps are useful to us today, because that's what I would do. :)

Try emailing your teacher for a review of the instructions. Usually public schools have their own websites that provide teacher email addresses. Don't rely on getting the information from a friend because there is a chance that their information may be wrong. It's better to get the right information from the horse's mouth, not their a.ss

Age Restriction
Yahoo! is concerned about the safety and privacy of all its users, particularly children. For this reason, parents of children under the age of 13 who wish to allow their children access to the Service must create a Yahoo! Family Account. When you create a Yahoo! Family Account and add your child to the account, you certify that you are at least 18 years old and that you are the legal guardian of the child/children listed on the Yahoo! Family Account. By adding a child to your Yahoo! Family Account, you also give your child permission to access many of the Services including email, message boards, and instant messaging (among others). Please remember that the Service is designed to appeal to a broad audience. Accordingly, as the legal guardian, it is your responsibility to determine whether any of the Services and/or Content are appropriate for your child.

See if your mom or dad can get ahold of your teacher. Call the school and leave a message or something. Have your parents explain what happened to your teacher the next day. Maybe the teacher will feel sorry for you and let you make up the work.

It won't help for this time...bu in the future...Write EVERYTHING about the assignment down. (Take good notes.) I had the same problem in school. You just need to write everything about it down while it's being discussed, even if the details seem like common sense. It may be tedious in class...but you'll thank yourself later.

Take notes and ask questions to be sure you have all the details that you need. Part of the purpose of school is to learn how to become more responsible. To be prepared for adulthood.

Write it down.

Try calling a classmate and see what they are doing. Or you can look it up on the internet, there are lots of sites that have free homework help.

first off, that makes little sense. too many p-words. second, get some kind of planner or something that you can write down your assignments in. it helps immensely. thirdly, get a phone # or email or w/e of a friend in class or the teacher. otherwise youre screwed. lol
