Where would I find information on laws followed by the courts of Florida on murder?

I have a friend in jail for a murder charge, that at this time im not sure if he committed, in Florida and wants to know the best thing to do to beat it or lower his sentence.

You need a good lawyer fast.We have the death penalty and use it often and fast.
