WELL I HAVE 5 WEEKS LEFT SO I KNOW HOW YOU FEEL, I HAVE TALKED TO A FEW RN'S AND OTHER PEOPLE AND THEY ALL SAY SEX, WALKING , AND ONE OF THE MOST RECCOMENDED FOR OVERDUE MOTHERS, IS NIPPLE STIMULATION, TRY PUTTING A BREAST PUMP ON YOUR BREASTS TWICE A DAY AND ALMOST SURELY YOU WILL GO INTO LABOR IT HAS WORKED MANY TIMES. PLEASE LET ME KNOW IF THIS WORKS FOR YOU BECAUSE IN A FEW WEEKS I AM GOING TO TRY IT.

Nothing will work unless the baby is ready. Walking and sex were the things I tried. It did help me progress faster. Also, technically, if you're a week from your due date, then you are full term, not really early. Good luck! I just had my third not quite a month ago, and I know how you feel!

it works for some....but the most important thing is that your baby is the one that decides when you should go into labor. there is a chemical reseased from the fetus when the lungs are developed enough for the baby to be born. It is always best to wait even if you are feeling fat anxious and desperate to see your baby. even with the advances in medical care there is no reason to have your baby any earlier than you have to.

You and every mother to be that I have known or heard of. I don't blame you lady, if we men had to go through with what you ladies go through the species would die out in one generation. Hang in there knowing you are one of many. The lady before me said to talk it over with your doctor. Follow her advice and NO ONE else. Good luck, it WILL be over soon.

No walk alot..let gravity take its toll..Stand alot..Just dont do any exercises that will make u use more Oxygen then normal thats not good for the baby

You should consult your doctor/midwife...as far as sex I've been told that if you and your husband/boyfriend have sex and both orgasm at the same time that can induce labor.
