In most states you have to have reached "age of majority" in order to enter into a legal contract; 18 is considered "age of majority".
Check with your local real estate board, they will have the correct answer for you. You might also want to talk to a local commercial real estate agent. Express your interest and ask what they suggest you do to get started in the business. Many real estate companies will pay for the classes needed to get your license, but I'm sure you'd have to sign some sort of agreement with them. Typically the fees for taking the state licensing test would be on you.
It's great that you have an interest in something particular already. Many people don't have a focus until they are much older. You should always persue whatever you have a passion for, then you will always be a sucess.
I wan't to warn you though, since you are young you will have to work harder at gaining the respect of your potential clients. When people are investing money in things that require an agent, such as stocks, real estate, art; they have to have confidence in the agent they choose to do their deals for them. Have faith in yourself, learn your craft well and you will do great!
Best of luck to you.
