Are you sure it wasn't a promotional check? If it's real, you might want to call them up and see what it is for.

YOU ARE BEING SCAMMED!!! Turn it over to postal authorities!! Fleet Bank was aquired by bank of America over a year ago, it has ALL been changed over. There are a lot of nigerian immigrants in that area, im from there, and they find new twists on the nigerian 419 scam every day!! the check is a fake. Also Bank of america may be able to help. they are located at 1 city center,Portland Maine04414.

scam city - turn it over to the postal authorities. They love to whack those Niggerians too - give them long sentences and then send them back on deportation .
