The number of pixels is overrated as far as the quality of a camera. Unless you a professional photographer you don't need that many pixels. More important is a good lense. Carl Zeiss lenses, for example, have a good reputation.

as far as i know the most megapixles u can get is 16mp but that was like 4 months ago so there is probably better now, but if u want people to look good use a photo editor like paint shop pro or photo shop thats what i have to do when i want that perfect pic.

It's the photographer who makes people look good in photos.... not the camera LOL....7mega pixel will give excellent quality.... I use a cannon digital SLR... 300D... Brilliant camera...
