The bike Mike Hailwood rode with great success was first made in the 1978, and was actually an 864 as best I am able to determine. However the first production 900 (904 cc) was in 1989. What a beautiful and great handling bike, too!

M900 or SS900, both were about 1994/95, you can go to the ducati web site and it will give you dates or to the chat rooms like the Ducati Monster board www.duatimonster.org, they will surely know
