I am so addicted I click on the first thing in the morning before I even go pee. Then I just have to answer a few more before I go to bed, that ends up being a couple of hours. Finally I got cut off last night because I hit my limit for the day !! I was so bummed I "HAD" to stop for the day !

I'm addicted to this site only while at work - - I have nothing else to do in the mean time. Gotta pass the time some way!
I get on the internet mostly do research for my job, contact my clients, learn more about their companies. Also, to pass time, email family & friends, check my myspace page and see how all my friends are doing.

ME! I should be working right now. But no, this site has me so addicted that I can think of nothing else while working! I have this computer that sits in front of me all 8 hours I am here, just calling my name telling me to get on this site! I really need to learn to concentrate so I can get some work done... =/

Answers in order of your questions:
1) I'm addicted too. =D
2) My reason is that it feels good to know that you've helped someone out with a nagging question. I found it more fun answering questions than asking.
2) I get on the internet to check e-mails, chat with friends, download stuff, listen to music, and of course check out Yahoo! Answers. =)

I love this site but I need my job! So I had to cut back. I think I love it because I love sharing knowledge and I live for giving free advice, sometimes unasked for! There is no harm here (unless you are answering during work hours, that's called stealing from your employer so only on your break, okay?) So keep on answering! Have fun and you might just help another human being with your well meaning answers!

Im addicted to this site because it gives me something to do, and I know I can always count on it. When I accidentally melted plastic on my stove and I needed help, I didn't have to fool with all these weird articles, I could ask real people who know from real experience and they gave me an answer that worked! So, I love it! Plus I like feeling important and answering questions!

I find it relaxing to communicate with people in a way that is laid back. Yahoo Answers is relaxing when you don't put pressure on yourself to do it to gain points and to get to the next level. I don't even think about the points. Sometimes you can really help people and give them real advice. That's the main reason I like it. I'm a Teacher and we always have a lot to say! Hopefully I can say something positive. I like to be blunt but not rude to people and a lot of people e mail me and say "thanks."

I'm an addict, because I have to sit at my computer M-F 9 hours a day.... work gets boring sometimes and answering silly questions certainly passes the time quicker than actually working :)

I enjoy helping others when I have a chance. I enjoy learning what others have to say. Some of the questions are sort of dumb but others are interesting. If I have a question it's nice to be able to post it and get answers from anyone anywhere at anytime. Most of the folks here are really knowledgeable and helpful.

I use this site to help people and give advice, but also to learn about human nature, find friendly people, and to learn more about myself. I get on the Internet to escape from reality at times, but for the most part it's just for homework or when I get bored. Sometimes, I get detracted from my homework and come to this site!
