Online Guitar Finger Placement Guides?

Question

I'm looking to learn how to play guitar. My friends and uncle both said they would teach me but they start with one cord and then say "ok soon you can do this" and play a whole song. I just want something easy like A,B,C,D,E,F,G no A minor or major or anything else until later on, and when i search it, thats all I find are minors and majors.

Get the "Ernie Ball" books. Best ones I've come across.
