Should is be acceptable to play the race card every time a team is caught cheating again, or is it too Politically Incorrect to expect our counterparts to play by the rules? Will my question be removed for simply desiring fair play, regardless of any teams' race?

I don't think they're playing the race card. They have a long history with Haire, and so I guess they feel a bit persecuted.
What I have a problem with is that some of the Pakistani fans seem to think that this is all the England teams fault. Which is a bit unfair seeing that they were ready to play.
I'm happy to see that the Pakistani team understands that the English team had nothing to do with it though

Who says Pakistan played the race card?

The umpires will need to prove that Pakistan were tampering with the ball and on the evidence made publicly available through the media they are going to find this hard. In addition, the cricketing authorities will need to show that the ball tampering issue was considered without prejudice and in accordance with natural justice.

The Pakistani team did not help their cause by refusing to go out after the tea interval.

A very, very strange situation.

What I find very odd is how the match meant nothing but pride, with England already winning the series. Even stranger, is how Pakistan were in such a commanding postion, and from that position, a penalty of 5 runs hardly dented their hopes of winning!

Surely Inzamam-ul-Haq is experienced enough to know that a petulant display such as that (not coming out after tea) isn't the best way to deal with a set back? They should have just got out there and finished England off like they surely were going to do had this farce not occurred.

No, Pastafarianism became created as a reaction to schoolboards attempting to implement Christian Creationism as portion of the technology curiculum -- as an "selection clinical concept" of the beginings of existence. faith analyze will be apropriate in additional effective grades and the position they'd prepare the type of religions (actualy, seems extremely not available to do this wisely). per chance a extra constructive position in case you want to prepare about Christianity is in a Literature classification even as discussing a artwork that makes references to Christianity -- fullyyt to describe those references.

I am not a fan of Pakistan, but I do not think they are playing race card.

The whole western world was screaming "CHEAT" when Waquar and Wasim were revese swininging. In few years, Aussies and South Africans and English players learnedd how to revese swing. Then revese swininging isn't cheating anymore. Hair is a PRICK.

Youre talking out of your **** mate.
This umpire cheated and every time this stupid accusation has been made against the Pakistan team it is when they are in a winning position.
What about the 3 previous tests, why wasnt the accusation made then?
It is obvious to me that England cannot bear the thought of losing to a former colony and will perpetrate any smear to pretend it was not fair play.

I am a Pakistani and i am not reporting you i don't mind your question staying as its a rational and polite enquiry/point of view

Let me show you the history of darrel hair

http://www4.cricinfo.com/ci/content/current/story/257308.html

Check it out..you'll see if he is biased or not..

And inzimam has asked for the ball to be produced in front of media ...

26 Cameras did't pick up any tempering..

And do you really think pakistan would take it to this level when they are in glass houses?

They did't accuse a player of tempering of ball(which pparently never occured)they have accused the whole team of being a cheat, and we as a nation feel we have been called cheats !

Dickie Bird has backed us,by saying umpire was wrong to accus e players of ball tempering without proof, and i am sure no one would have spoken a word had dickie birdchanged the ball due to respect for him and his guarented and famour impartiality(and good old english manners:)),we all respect him..
Or steve bucknor for example..

This guy hates us and we hate him back..He is an australian but he is staying in england..In nov we launched a complain about him..and mentioned our doubts about hsi bias towards our team..

What Darrel hair regularly is doing is simply not cricket..
ICC seriously needs to have zero tolerance of racism(when it is there)..As geofry bycott has mentioned appointed of hair was a volcano waiting to erupt..
Should i remind of david shepherd's bias towards pakistan and pakistan was unable to stop him from umpiring pakistani matches despite complains and protests(including 1999 world cup final in which inzimam lbw raised some douts, that was close might have been out and no big issue was made out of it)

In headingly test he regularly favoured england, even in the fourth test he regularly favoured england(though one decision from the west indian umpire did go in favour of pakistan),Pakistan did't make a fuss out of it..did't even complain..took it in the spirit of the game ..We enjoy a healthy rivalry with england, though many inncident and theh current leading them all..

Do check out the link i have posted

It probably will be removed even though your question is a valid 1! Its so easy for people to claim racial, sexual, age discrimination! The world has gone crazy! Pakistan didn't play by the rules & that is all that matters! what if the roles were reversed I bet England wouldnt be able to claim racial dicrimination if they were in Pakistan!
