We are flying from Minnesota on Sept 14 to Amsterdam and then we are staying in europe until November 14. Im wondering if anyone out there has gone on a similar vacation with a significant other Im trying to find places to stay on a reasonable budget and Im not sure how hostels will work since we would like to sleep together and have some privacy any ideas? Thanks in advance

When you travel to Germany go to the Tourist information and ask where the "Jugendherberge"is .
This is the cheapest way and food is usually included in the Price ......but is so much cheaper then the cheapest hotels, and the Hotels you only have Breakfast included.
And its save there.
Have Fun !!!

Lots of Hostels have private rooms for a little more but I found that when I was backpacking the best thing was to just get off the train and then when you get in the station people come up and try and get you to stay at their small hotel or hostel. Usually you can bargin too. I would book in Amsterdam. I think there is a wedsite called www.hostels.com or something like that that will help. Getting a Let's go Europe book will also give you some good ideas.

Hostels would be cheapest. Next choice, small B & B's. Enjoy your stay.
