Puerto Rico probably will not become a state ever. Many Puerto Ricans like it the way it is.

But there are more Puerto Ricans in NYC (especially the Bronx) than in Puerto Rico.

When they want to, the reason they haven't yet is that the majority of the population would prefer to not be a part of an American state.

The US doesn't stand to gain anything from P.R. joining the Union. If it did, the US would have done it already.

i dint they are..its not convenient for the US to have PR as a state.
