Orchids are pretty easy to take care of....go here..

No direct sunlight, warm tempereature. Dont overwater it: once a week is plenty. Even better to use a mist: it's more natural for these plants. Don't get discuraged if it dies or stops blooming. For me about 2 out of 3 stay alive and bloom.

Orchids dont need dirt just use orchid bark to plant it in and keep it where it is very humid and mist it every couple of days.Sunlight is a plus

I love orchids..got several of them here at home in fact.

Keep them away from direct sunlight.They are fond of constant light though so put them in a spot where there's abundance.Cut the stem to the 3rd eye once it has out-bloomed so you encourage new sprouts.Fertilize them at least once in 2wks.They don't need lots of water so never allow them to soak neither.If you decide to put them outdoor,let them cling into a bark of a tree but when it's about autumn,bring them indoor so they won't freeze to death for the winters.

I have been starting them in coconut husks and keeping them wet and shaded. It seems to be working so far, but no blooms yet. My mom usually sticks a few fake plastic blooms in them so that they don't look like just some dumb plant.

It is an orchid, and it depends which kind. But, in general, not too much water and not too much sun.
