God is training us to be more like Him, and development brings us closer. Some Christians don't believe in reincarnation in that sense, but the Pharisees taught it, and many of them actually became the first Christians. Like Paul.

If the bible's right, and there is only room for 144,000 people in heaven, my theory is that earth is heaven's waiting room. There's limited space, so they cycle people through.
