I am 27 years old and do not have a driver license. I was scared to drive after having friend killed in a car accident when I was 16. It is not pathetic because if you are scared to drive you will be a dangers person to have behind the wheel . You will be more likely to overreact and because a accident . There is no magic age when you should get your license it is a personal decision. Maybe if some teenage wanted until they where maturity there would not be some many young lives lost in a terrible way. So if getting your license at 20 is pathetic then wanting tell you are 27 year old I most be very pathetic. Hope you can make the right decision for you and not what other people think. If you do get be safe .

I don't think it's pathetic...getting your driver's license at any age is a real accomplishment. I didn't get my driver's license until I was 20, because I wasn't allowed to have a job until I had graduated from high school, so I spent many years on the bus and I really felt like THAT was pathetic! It took a couple of years working after graduation to save up for a car and insurance, and lessons - at that time, it was $800 for Young Drivers of Canada's complete defensive driving course - I needed to take the course to learn the best driving habits and because I could use their car for the road lessons and the test. I knew that when the course was finished I'd want a car right away. So although I was 20, I ended up with excellent driving skills and my own car paid for and well-insured, and I was very proud of that.

No it's not. Getting your driver's license is an accomplishment at any age. Some people are in their 50s and still don't have their driver's license. Just be glad that you got them and recognize that having them is a privilege and a responsibility.

I don't think so. If you waited this long to get it on purpose then it is perfectly fine. Even if you tried and failed one or two times, its not a big deal. Some people never drive. My grandmother never got her driver's license. She walks everywhere. Its healthier in the long run anyway. Somes states don't even allow people to get their license until you are 18. Besides all that, it doesn't matter what everyone else thinks.

No. There are a number of logical reasons that some people would choose not to have a license. If they weren't able to pass the drivers test, well then, they will pass when they are ready to drive. It is not pathetic.

Nope. It's only pathetic once/if you fail the test. I mean, here in Georgia they were considering that u had to be nineteen to get a permit or something, so its really not that bad.
Besides, that's like four less years of worrying about if ull crash ur car/wreck/DIE!
and u cannot drive drunk if you dont have a license...
*gets to thinking*
maybe i wont get mine til im twenty...

No. You get your driver's license when you feel ready to drive a car. Getting it at 16, huffing, then running you and 4 friends into a tree and killing everybody, now THAT is pathetic.

no longer pathetic, yet style of wierd for the regularly occurring public of the inhabitants. In NYC, there are persons there who by no ability get a license. they only do no longer choose the project of parking anyplace they are, the threat of carjacking, properly, the checklist is going on. yet, the distances maximum persons stay from each and every thing like artwork, buddies, kin, procuring centers, groceries, and so on. make it in basic terms approximately a should have a automobile and license, just to exist in recent times.
