is it now time to disband the police?

the streets are flooded with drugs and that would happen only if there were a demand for them so that means that a lot of people dont seee why they should not use drugs
also the police are never there to protect good ppl and even when tehy aresst the baddies the court s are not giving adequate sentences;good ppl have given up their right s to protect themseles and the law is letting them down and even these good people dont seem to understand why they should obey the law in other matters
should we not have a trial period where law is suspended to show why law is there and at the end of the period we could have a vote on whehter to restore law
everyone could get a gun and bag themselves a bad guy;most interestingly we would see the percentage of baddies out there;i am tired of them sneering at me and would like to see how they would cope with some lead in their *** i would be quite happy hanging a few of them

You have obviously never lived in an area or even vistied one without laws.

I have and can can tell you from personal experience that you know nothing about real violence - ever see a family of people murdered in the street in broad daylight because they were ACCUESED of being "evil" by a neighbor who didn't like them - and NO one tries to stop it? Ever see a 13 year old girl killed by fanatics because they thought she was breaking the word of god by the way she dressed? How about a corpes dragged through the street naked and cut to pieces by a mob because it was the body of someone from a country they were TOLD was their enemy.

That is mob rule and what you are suggesting. Once you remove the laws, then ANYONE can kill without expectation of being arrested - and the "bad guys" have more guns than you do AND the mentality to kill without hesitation once the only thing they fear is gone.

Good people are only good when they are forced to be by the impoition of laws and the presence of police. Without it there is rule by mob - look at New Orleans. The good people took off and the thieves took everything they could.

Well I don't think that is a very good idea. If you want to see what would happen if there was no law then look at some footage of hurricane Katrina in New Orleans, Louisiana. All the bad guys went ape shizit. They broken into every store, and stole everything. I can understand stealing food or drinking water, but they stole jewelry, shoes, clothes, cars, guns, beer, plasma screen t.v.s. They even raped and murdered one another; because they didn't have anyone to stop them. What you propose is a horrible idea. No thanks dude.

I don't know about completely disbanding the police and going
to some kind of vigilante justice however you bring up an excellent point about declining law enforcement in an increasingly intrusive
police state..
What a contradiction...
At the very least, there needs to be some MAJOR changes made..

The police branch is an evil authorities monopoly that prospers through maximizing inefficiency on the cost of tax payers, and maximizing regulations on the cost of incarcerated danger free human beings or perhaps human beings's lives. the region is that persons imagine that we desire them...not an excellent type of persons study about the voluntarily funded police forces of 18th century England. @ in no way back, and what's unique about the in call for day that makes that not available?

Anarchy and lawlessness would be better? If you want to see how that works out look at Somalia, the Congo, and other areas where millions of innocent people have have been starved and murdered within the last decade. This is the future you wish to see??

first of all dont blame the cops blame the judges....where i live if u get arrested for a possession charge youre in jail less that 3 hrs....then if and when the druggie shows up to court they get this stupid drug court class that doesnt do anything to help...people on drugs dont get off. and by the way most people do have guns, the wrong people have guns. thats why cops and innocent people get killed. until you know all the crap a cop goes through to do his job dont talk crap.
