I am just wondering how many people consider themselves physically unattractive. I am only speaking of physicallity; not about how beuatiful (or ugly) you are on the inside.
Do you consider yourself unnattractive? If so, why? If you do, are you doing anything to change that (Examples: if overweight: excercizing If you feel nose is too large considering plastic surgury?). If you are not doing anything to change your appearance, is it because you think people should love you "lumps" and all?
I would like to get a feel of how people preceive themselves. I do realize that some people may say they are physically unattractive, when in fact, to most people they would not be unattractive. Also, I expect some to say they are very attractive, when in fact, most people would not agree. I don't care about this. I am just wondering how many people preceive THEMSELVES as either physically unattractive or attractive.

I guess my case relates to confidence. I am not a self confident person and although i know i am not unattractive that doesn't make me perceive myself as attractive. What i would change about myself? Nothing physically of course, rather i would like to have more self confidence.

I wouldn't call myself unattractive but I'm certainly no hottie. I'm overweight and have been for sometime now... I try to eat right and exercise but overall I'm secure in who I am. I'm clearly not appalling because I'm now married and have had many past relationships... But yeah, physically I wish I were more fit and generally attractive body wise. I think my face is pretty if not a little "unique" (I don't know any one else who looks like me, though many have told me I look like someone they know...)... pretty eyes and what I think is the perfect nose = )

I have heard that you are your own worst critique. I feel that when I look in the mirror, that I do not look too unattractive, but then I see pictures and think, omg, is that what I really look like?
But I figure, I have people whom love me the way that I am, and do not feel that I am that ugly that I need to change my appearance, after all, it is only my own opinion which will decide what I do with myself.
I love myself lumps and all.

I'm not ugly, but I don't consider myself attractive. On the other hand apparently many women do find me attractive; especially black women for some reason. I'm white.
I have a very beautiful wife and it seems that if a regular looking guy has a beautiful wife, that makes him more attractive to other women. Do you find that to be true?

I do believe im attractive! Although i realize not everyone is going to like me because beauty is in the eye of the beholder! Some People could think im one of the beautifulest people they have seen and some may think im not very attractive! But i do think i look good (not cocky but i got it)

I consider myself to be average looking at best. Yet many people say I look like someone famous and when I compare myself to that person I not too impressed.

I like myself outside and inside. I may be far from pretty but I have a cute face and soft baby skin, pink cheeks and almost always a smile which extends to my eyes...very expressive face, too which gives me a very innocent look...in short, cute but not pretty
also I'm very thin naturally. not too tall though

I'm sure my face is a little too round and my chest is too large for my height, but all in all I'd say I'm pretty much okay. I'm not going to win beauty pageants (unless it was a breast size one!) any time soon but that is okay with me. I try to stay fit and keep my esteem in check. I feel pretty good in my skin.
(And yes - a breast reduction is in the works!)

I do percieve myself as unatractive, but I'm not sure if I will think the same way after I get my braces off next month. Because everyone tells me I have a nice smile, but I hate it because of my braces.

this should be on hen Soup for the Soul or something. through the way, i'm listening to SENS's 'Requiem' as i'm interpreting this, and that i'm very touched, even with the very undeniable actuality that i did not cry. Plus it really is rather on the incorrect talk board, yet thanks for sharing this and touching my existence at present!
