I agree with Jenna Fryer the AP Auto Racing Writer. Her chase predicition is

Much as I'd like to see other names here, I think Jenna is right. Pretty close to yours.

There are still 19 drivers that are still mathematically have a shot but lets be realistic there are only 12 or 13 drivers that have a legitimate chance at it.
Well lets start with Johnson, Kenseth is a little to far behind, but he might make it
Kenseth and Johnson are pretty much set for the top two though
Mark Martin has had a great year and does very well at the last 3 tracks so i will slot him in third.
Harvick is still doing really well but has had some problems at the short tracks, keeping his temper in check so he will fall into 4th.
The rest will be difficult they are all good drivers and are so close in the points.
It is to bad that Jeff Burton had a valve break on his engine, but he will rebound into 5th, he has a great year, he is my favorite to win it all in homestead on November 19th.
6th will be Jeff Gordon, I don’t really like him but he has done very well as of late and he will make the chase.
Tony Stewart will slot him self in to the 7th, position I don’t really like him either, but it is hard to ignore that he is good on the short track which two(Bristol, Richmond) of the three final races are.
One of my favorite driver slipped a little a few weeks ago with two consecutive 43 place finishes, Dale Earnhardt Jr. will rebound to finish 8th in the standings.
Kasey Kahne will make the chase in 9th, just as his teammate did last year, oh sorry his former teammate but that is a different story.
So leaves the final spot to Denny Hamlin, I don’t think he will do well in the chase but he will make it.
Now let me explain why I left Kyle Busch out of the chase, he has not done well in the last few races I think he is cracking under the pressure of the fight for the chase.
So my final line-up is
1. Johnson
2. Kenseth
3. Martin
4. Harvick
5. Burton
6. Gordon
7. Stewart
8. Earnhardt Jr.
9. Kahne
10. Hamlin
