first of all 15 year olds aren't in love! second how do you know he is 15. what if he is a sick pervo who is pretending to be a 15 yr. old and is using his neighbors sons pictures to you onling saying thats who he is. tell your parents everything. Honesty is the best policy!

As a mother to a 7yr old and 5 yr old boys, and a stepmother to 19yr old girl..your question stands out to me. I guess I am curious what your online relationship is...do you just chat or has it become more serious??? Nothing wrong with online friendships..but from experience (and I am an adult) you have to be careful, because anyone can be whoever they want to be on here. Are you sure he's truly 15???
And yes...love is a great thing. I also first feel in love at 15..but my mistake was at 15, I decided not to play the field, to commit to one guy. It took me almost 2 years of missing out the fun everyone else was having because of it. So don't let me underestimate your feelings, have been there at your age..just remember..you only have once chance at being young..so make the most of it and enjoy others..you have plenty of time for commitments later.
You might want to be honest with your parents and say you have met someone you really like on the net. Open and honesty is the key for good relations at any age, with any one! Don't be surprised if they voice concerns, give you talks not to be trusting and commited to someone so far away, etc..but that's their job as parents. But its best your honest about it so they know you aren't hiding anything in case something more comes out of it.
Final advice..be careful how much personal information you give to your online friend. In time, and after his has checked out to being who he says he is, with permission of your parents, then maybe you can exchange phone calls or whatever. (might be smart for you to make first call to him, using a calling card so he can't trace you for safety reasons)
Hope some of this helps...best of luck!

okay yeah he may claim that he is 15 but i highly doubt it, he will send you pics and everything but once again i highly doubt that is him .. i went through that talking to guys i didnt know and it got me in a lot of trouble when my parents found out. so i think your best bet is to stop talking to him, because you think your in love but you havent even met the guy and i can guarantee that he is some old guy .. just teasing with you. they are there for you and like omg whats wrong and get you at the right moment to meet you and have their way with you. dont get hurt. and dont say you werent warned. have fun ..

Ok. One, how do you know for sure this guy is really 15? You don't. You need to quit this relationship now. It's not safe. If you really want to continue it, I guess, tell your parents and then they can supervise it to make sure it's safe.

well they will probably tell you that you are too young and a long distance relationship is hard when you are actually able to travel and visit let alone when you are just 15..... Id tell them but what would it accomplish?
