If you have Photoshop use Clone Brush and copy the background over the hat.

if it's actually a drawing - it is to be hoped in pencil - you ERASE IT! an eraser is any of a number of types of gum or putty used to alter pencil - EVEN PEN! - drawings. look for them in grocery stores, pharmacies, and, for really good ones, art supply stores. they're a marvel, and no mistake. don't rub too hard, though, lest you tear the paper (if using parchment, vellum, or a similar drawing surface, the hat may be scratched off, with anything edgy or pointy - remember to be gentle, now!). if it's a computer "drawing", you're on your own.
