humans are creatures that like to copy each other. this makes them look more "normal" and acceptable. in my psychology class we were shown a video of an experiment: The guy was asked very simple questions along with a few others that was in on the experiment, the guy picked the very obviously wrong answer just to go with the crowd. it was explained that he doubted himself, thinking that he was the one that was wrong just because the majority thought different. so the lesson is be a leader, not a follower.

because they rather be popular in a group;rather than be miserable by yourself. Being a slave to your own mind isn't bad especially if the mind is conscientious,and that's the super id that dictates.... and distinguishes from right and wrong.
