Because when he decided to become a Christian and turn his life over to God, he realized that being in the band Korn (the music topics, the rock n roll lifestyle, the self indulgence) wasn't glorifying God or making him really happy in the least. He saw the bigger picture...and he probably realized Korn kind of sucks now, hah, just kidding...kind of.

Sure....he accepted his previously renounced savior, Jesus Christ, into his heart. He felt that the music he created with Korn was incompatible with his newly found life.
