Well as I am now considered past it on the dance floor cause I am an oldie at nearly 50, I have to say these days nothing much, though I have just learnt to Salsa and love that, we used to do stuff like the Hustle and Northern Soul in my days of dancing, if you really want to be a dancer then you go for it, brilliant for keeping fit and you never know you might just get famous too.

Wanting to be a good dancer makes you one I am sure. I have learnt a special move, that I have not tried out yet, from modern ballet. Wave your hand quickly palm towards your face dragging the hand from over your head to your chest. It gives an airy look. Combine it with anything, swaying your hips from side to side e.g.

it's not really just a certain move...it's a combination of all of it...the way you move your body, the expression on your face, your "attitude" - there's not really one certain thing...I love pole dancing, but I can dance on the floor, too. The biggest thing is to not really think about what you are doing and not feel embarrassed about it. Just loosen up and have fun. The only thing to think about is what style of dance you want to do, and the attitude you want to portray...do you want to be silly, sexy, fun, etc.? Just let it come out naturally.

The "Mick Jagger" you clap your hands slowly and sway your hips, although when I do it everyone is in stiches and I really don't know why.
