Need more sources means you don't have any! Try again later. Another idea is to get another p2p software like Ares. If you can't get it using LimeWire, close it and look for it on Ares.
To "Leo W": You are a dumba$$. Napster doesn't connect to the Gnutella network. Neither does Ares, eMule, Piolet, and others.
("Wot's the Gee-nut-tella network? Is it a web site? Der, der, der.")

Its not the song that is messed up its either the person you are trying to get the song from, or the actual file is not on thier computer because they are using Napster or some other song sharing program.
The Trick is to download the same song many times all at once.
(Name it something else cause it will restrict downloading the same twice.)
One is bound to go thru.

You need more sources because whoever is on-line doesn't have your particular song in their shared library. Unless what you're searching for is a really obscure song, you'll likely find it if you try again in an hour or so.

well lets look at it in a hypothetical perspective.. you buy limewire it doesnt work...you call a computer doctor over he charges you 100 dollors to fix it but how much are you saving in cds ,,,,lets say you buy 1 cd a week thats 10 a week in 2 months you will be making more if you called a computer docter than if you gave the whole thing up and you can probely make one cd a day pending on the time on your hands that leaves you with 2 weeks,,,,,,preaty damn good if you ask me i highly recomend it

sometimes people don't want to share their files. They may show up on the list you select but there isn't access to them. Try looking for the songs by title, artist, album, etc. May take some time but you will be able to get what you are looking for.

Not enough people have the songs you're trying to download. Right click it and select 'find more sources'.

it's trying to protect you from yourself.
sharing copyrighted songs over limewire is illegal. riaa is suing it for profiting from infringement - after winning its lawsuit against grokkster in the supreme court - and will almost certainly win.
if the riaa is targeting it, you know the riaa is monitoring it. and anyone still using it to download illegally does so at his own risk. $3,000 per illegal song to the riaa is not something i'd want to pay.

Sometimes people will allowy ou to see what they have, but have firewalled it.
So you can;t download. No matter how much you try.
You could contact them and ask them to allow your IP address.
Or do what I do
BUY the music or file.
