No, they mature in different areas, girls will mature practically, in that they'll develop life skills that enable them to get along in the world, where boys wouldn't know how to make themselves food or how to turn the washing machine on....but then there is the flip side of it where girls are childish enough to read cosmo and Hello or watch Big Brother. It's also very noticable when it comes to relationships and sex, men just want to breed and have fun trying, Girls are immature enough to start putting a criteria in place..."He needs to be this.. he needs to be that.." So you have your fairy princess who reads Cosmo and has this very narrow minded opinion of what her mate should be like, or you have the girls who are immature by going for "bad boys" - Do you go for the nice boy who did well at school, but is a bit shy? Or do you go for the guy who didn't take an exam, rides a bike and will slap you around?

So as I said, both boys and girls develop in different ways.

Physiologically, yeah. But psychologically? Both genders mature differently. That (maturity) pretty much depends on the environment you're in & what company you are exposed to, etc.
Some may appear mature physically but are immature in nature, I've known certain girls who're in their 20s to behave in such a manner.
While some girls who're as young as 5 are incredibly mature comparable to that of a 40 year old, lol=)
Therefore it applies differently to each individual.

Yes. Proof of that is how boys retain they are better than girls till they are 25 while we drop the issue at about 12.

no longer unavoidably in all circumstances. I had a pair of very mentally/emotionally very mature sons. generally, some ladies do mature in the past than some boys - yet that's no longer continually the case.

Yep. Apparently boys don't fully mature until they're in their 50s. Miles behind!

a fourteen year old girl wanting to see a sixteen year old lad isnt mature but because they can doesnt make them more mature. they only think they are because they do older things, then it swings the other way in later years

Most of us do. Some boys actually catch up, but it's really rare. Girls usually have more responsibilities and more expected of them, but guys can have alot to deal with also.

For sure. Even 'grown' men need someone to mother them! Expect a guy to act at least half his age or less - for ever - and the older they get the more years you can take off!!
