I want side bangs but don't know how to get it, what should i do? Do i cut it by myself?

My hair is long, dark, and i think i should get some side bangs, what do you think?

just go get them cut at a local chain salon...bring a picture out of a magazine, it will cost about 5 dollars if you are only getting your bangs done...dont do it yourself...most people have a bad habbit if messing them up and then cutting them too short which will end up taking weeks to months to grow out

ok well the first time ur getting bangs u should go to a slaon and jsut ask them to cut ur side bangs and then once u have got side bangs u can trim them after word by ur self if u want to thats what i did one day coz like i payed 7bucks for someone to just troimmy bangs and i could have done it at home it was easy i did do it after word just make sure ur get ur bangs cut the first time by a professianl then u can trim them ur self if u think they are too long but u should go to a salon i think u can get them trim for 5-7 bucks

I LOVED my side bangs when I had them... just grew them out b/c I knew I'd be away from my regular stylist all summer, and anyway it's annoying to have bangs in the summer when they stick to your forehead.
But please don't cut them yourself, and don't get them too thin or they might not fall nicely. I would suggest if your hair is really long, think about adding some layers in the front.

Well, my sis got that recently its just regular cut bangs but they put it to the side and you have to keep it that way so your hair "learns" to keep it that way. I think it look good on dark or brown hair lol so go for it.

in case you'll reduce your own hair, you want to ascertain 2 mirrors, so that you will see that what you're doing. a tremendous bathing room replicate is a sturdy commence, and then the 2d replicate set on a shelf beside you, or mind-blowing in the nook... you fairly do not want to be protecting the replicate along with your non-scissors hand. artwork slowly, on small products of hair at a time. Well i have side bangs... i think. i went to the hair cutting thing and got my bangs cut a little farther then me eyes. I tried to cut it my self before! IT DID'NT TURN OUT THAT GOOD!!!

No do not do it your self that would just be a mess . Go get it cut, just dont spend only 9 bucks on a haircut spend like 20 to 30 dollars.

Find a pic of the style you like and go to a salon. Doing it yourself is a bad idea. I tried it and it was awful. I had to turn it into thick reg bangs

i think it would look great one of my frends has long dark and she has side bangs. they look really nice on her. so the should on you too. if you dont no how just go into jc pennys or someplace where you can have them done for you. so you dont accidentilly do something wrong.
