Yes. If you have multi modems you can connect them without going wireless.

If your house is not already wired then you'll have to run a wire from your Modem in Room 1 to your Room 2. You can buy 10-50 ft of Cat 5 or Cat 6 wire from places like Best Buy or in bulk (100+ feet) at Home Depot, etc.

I honestly think you'd be happier with a wireless connection. Perhaps you can think of a local geek you know? Tell him what you want and then ask him what it would take to install a wireless or wired network for you. Be sure to let him know if your PC will need to have an Ethernet Card or Wireless NIC Card installed as this will add to the cost. You'll have to pay a lot for a certified geek so just some local kid should probably do for your purposes...I bet he'll bite if you offer to make dinner and maybe throw in $20-50 depending on how long it takes. The Wireless router and any other supplies needed for a 1-3 PC Network should cost you no more than $75 - $100...so you're looking at around $100 total if you have to pay the geek. Let me know if you have any questions or want more detail on anything!

Only if the broadband modem is able to connect to both computer that need to be wired.to the modem in order to connect to the Internet.
Otherwise if the cable can't reach to the other room, you will need a wireless router connected to the broadband modem and need also to have a wireless computer.

yes, but it will be rather expensive miss. One must purchase broadband in that room and have a modem. that is the only way but why do that it is way cheaper to have a wireless router

I'm sitting in my recliner, typing this. In the back of my laptop is the end of a 50-foot ethernet cable, running across my living room, down the corridor & into my office, terminating in the back of my broadband cable modem/router.

you can have as many modems as you wish, but they each will have to be hooked up to an "outside line" unless you do have a wireless router.

I thought a broadband was an all girl musical group... So much for my comedy debut. You can but you need to workout the networking to another pc.Just go to your "help" on your home page.

yes, you can buy a regular router and connect the other computers via ethernet cords or you can set up a network over the phonelines in your house.

I think you can if you have phone jacks in other rooms you would have to buy another router. You would need to buy another double filter too.
