This series has been abandoned, or perhaps you can say shifted to 2007. They have agreed to play it in 2007 after the world cup

The series between India and Sri Lanka was cancelled due to very bad weather conditions.The series will be played sometimes on 2007 .

First it was supposed to be a tri series between India-Srilanka-South Africa.But due to a bomb blast South Africans left the series because of security concerns.Then the Sri Lankan baord has decided to conduct a three match series between India-Sri Lanka.But due to rain the whole sereies washed out.And it had been decided that the three nations would play in triseries in 2007 but the dates havent been announced.
