The republicans have done nothing to hinder our freedom? I suppose that's true as long as you don't ask any questions or state an opinion contrary to that voiced by the administration. Also, as long as you don't expect to be released if you are not charged with an actual crime, expect any degree of privacy or wish to have a bottle of water on a plane. Because if you do, then you are "with the terrorists".
Its ridiculous.

This whole thing is just stupid. If i recall we supplied Iraq and Afghanistan weapons when it was in our best interest. Now we speak of them as terrorist. All these people also try to blame Clinton for 9/11, fact is Bush was president and it is his responsibility. I also recall, the hi- jackers of the plane were mostly Saudi. So we go after Iraq and Afghanistan???? We never found any proof that Saddam was a threat. So i say the real terrorist are the imperialistic bush administration. What exactly have we accomplished. It is like the war on drugs, haven't made much progress in that either. Before i get some ridiculous comment, i was in Iraq with the 1st Battalion 5 Th marines, for those who like to pull the patriot card. To answer the question completely I, I will vote for the independents.

Huh? Republican's are for small government. Dummyrats are for large government? Did you just learn our poltics last week or something? DummyRats have destroyed my freedom of speech! I now cannot use the word God in a public place! If that isn't the destruction of free speech I don't know what is. I also can no longer smoke in any public place either thanks to the DummyRats and now they want to invade my house and stop me smoking there too! What's next? You damn dummyrats are taking away ALL of my rights under the cloak of political correctness.

First of all, the democratic P.C. police and their "speech codes" have done more damage on college campuses and in the mainstream media than anyone. Freedom of Religion also stops the second you start bombing things in the name of Allah. Let's see how many hate responses I can get to this.

REPUBLICANS AGAIN IN NOVEMBER!!
I haven't lost any of my rights that I can see. If we gave terrorists free reign without listening in to the terror plots, our ENTIRE country and freedoms will be lost. Can you not see that? If the terrorists had been successful in blowing up all those planes over the Atlantic Ocean, our economy and our psyche would have been destroyed.
Try to look at both sides of the argument before posting next time.

what has been done to you? in what way are you suffering from your freedoms being eroded? get real.
and if you are going to ask people to vote, ask them to vote with intelligence, and for a person or belief, not to just vote against someone.

Nothing has been done to our 1st and 4th amendment rights. Perhaps you should read them first, before you say something so ignorant. We are just as free as we ever were. If you want to know what it is like in an oppressed country, go to Iran or North Korea, they will be happy to enslave you.
Grow up, get an education, and then come back and talk like an adult.

Neither of those amendments have been eroded. Perhaps if you could give any examples you may have an argument here.

could you kindly tell me what rights we have lost?
are you reffering to the wiretapping of virtually untracable pre paid cell phones, calling afghanastan in a time of war? Yeah, looks like we are on the road to becoming the next cuba.
