why do guys look at other women and deny when asked about it?

They lie not to argue but have they thought about if they lie it turns into more of an arguement.

First of all, guys look at other women b/c they are visual creatures. It's what excites them. They are curious. Their imaginations start going. But, it doesn't necessarily mean they care about you any less. As long as they are looking and not touching it shouldn't be a big deal.

They deny it b/c they are afraid that admitting to the wandering eye action will just start and arguement and get them into trouble. It's easier to deny than to fess up.

I don't lie about it when my wife confronts me. I tell her I was looking, looking doesn't hurt. Guys do lie about it, because deep down they know it is disrespectful to their gf/wife or person they are with.

They don't want the other person to think they aren't good enough, or pretty enough or anything like that. People are attracted to other people, it is simple. Girls look at other guys all the time too. It is nature. If you are secure in your relationship it shouldn't be that big of deal.

Maybe it's because they don't feel comfortable with the woman they are with. If the woman they are with realizes that she has a man who will look at other women but never dwell on that or act on it then the man won't feel the need to lie.

We are visually oriented. I think guys lie about looking cuz they know it'll only get em into trouble. So if girls would just accept that guys will look and understand its just the way guys are and accept that, life would be easier for us all. I do not think that just looking is bad, or disloyal. For us its about as natural as breathing.

I promised my gf (now my wife) to never lie to her. I've kept that promise and it's working great.

Anyway, nobody can stop me from looking at other women, like I can't stop her from looking at other men. Looking is not illegal and not dangerous for the relationship.
