You should be able to get a free half-hour consultation with a lawyer.
Moreover, if you are blameless you should report the man to the police and tell them he is harrassing you etc. If they say they can't help, ask them to steer you to the appropriate authority.

As for those who think there is no smoke without fire, let me say we used to have a schizophrenic neighbour who did much worse than yours, including putting an enormous dog* pile behind our shed over winter. He even used a piece of his own tarpaulin! then claimed it must have been someone else who had stolen his dogs' excrement and put it there to implicate him. We called the health dept.

My former friend is very conscious about his age. He's 42 and uses a lot of crap on his face to make himself look younger. He absolutely hates the idea of getting old. What I did is I signed him up for tons of retirement home mailing lists and catalogs. I could only imagine what his reaction was. Mwahahahaha!

does he have a car?
do you have any expanding 'gapfilling' foam? and an extension to the nozzle?
did you know that cars need free flow of gasses from the exhaust in order to run?
did you know that a 3 second burst of foam a foot up an exhaust pipe will cause enough of a blockage that the said car will be impossible to start...forever?unless a smart mechanic shines a torch up the tail pipe..and they dont grow on trees in quickfit?
mind you..i'm only asking a few questions...not making suggestions...after all, only a truly nasty and vindictive person would concider causing harm to an innocent motorcar...would't they?

Do nothing for now, have a good think about what you are going to do to get them back, is there anything you have on them that you could use to your advantadge? Bide your time and remember, revenge is a dish that's best served cold!

1) Squirt a rude message on his front lawn with bleach
2) Order, skips, top soil, sheds, Jacuzzis, hot tubs etc
3) Request reps to call - ad's in mags etc
4) Advertise his car, bike, house etc for sale on free notice boards in supermarkets.
5) Write his name and phone number on the men's public toilet wall!

Put a big sign on your lawn, "Warning, my neighbor is a Liar" or if you have his name, how about going down to the post office and filing a change of address form for him.

Why is this neighbor doing this? Does not make sense something happened for him to think these things. Talk again

Bad karma...what goes around, comes around. Take the moral high ground-you'll feel better for it and your neighbour will get what he/she deserves.
