Ramsey case, what do you think about that kind of beauty contests ?

I am sorry for her death, but the kind of beauty contest she took part in wasn't right for me. Little child in (sexy) adult style clothes, heavy adult style make-up (lipstick, mascara ... even in adult beauty contests, they use less than that ...).A lot of people consider it's wrong. Her mom said the wrong idea came from the viewers (not from the child). But for me it's from the people that performed and (parents) took part in the contest. And maybe it's one of the reasons brought her to death - enchants child molestative people ... What is your opinion, especially you parents of children?

I agree with all of your ideas - and one more thought : Why "child beauty pegeant", where the kids who partecipate would think they are physically prettier than the others - that's, shollow, usless, selfish and selfcentered. Would be much better something healthier like they do in other countries, called kind of "elegant and intelligent kids" in which the candidates would have to show their talents and knowledge, abilities ... together with physical apperance and certainlly must be kids' way, without much of make-up, no sexy/adult-style clothes ...

These contests are wrong and little children should not take part. Must be a meeting ground for padeophiles. Parents should get their kids interested in other activities.

I was going to ask a question but everything I was going to ask or say were well covered.
I believe in allowing children to be children. Doing this to a child only increases the dangers that are already out there.
I also think that people who try to make children of their pets are wacko, but there isn't the danger factor involved

I totally agree. I never understood "pageant parents" and how they could possibly think it's okay to put a child through that crap. Even if the child says they want to do it or whatever, I see it as perverted. I don't see how anyone could argue that it ISN'T sexualizing a child...I'd love for someone to convince me otherwise. I can't think of one valuable lesson that it could teach a child and it gives sick people something to look at. Only a teensy fraction of people are sick enough to act on it, but as a parent how could you put your kid out there to be visually groped by countless pervs?

i in my opinion do unlike those attractiveness contests via fact it makes different ladies choose the incorrect issues or think of that they are grotesque. fairly attractiveness contests for a youthful new child. I observed a image of the little lady. To be honest, she appeared like an grownup in a tiny physique. i'm deeply sorry for her death, yet, I agree, those attractiveness contests would have stirred up those new child molesters. I strongly urge mothers and fathers to be careful approximately making those form of judgements.

I think those contests are horrible & I see the same footage of her over and over it is disturbing. As a parent I can not condone that behavior. Why put a kid in the clothes and makeup?

totally, she behaved way to sexy for a child, children who are actors are not that way, they are supposed to look and act like children. i find the whole pageant life abusive to the child.

I think it borders on child pornography. It is not that I am against beauty pagents, I just think little girls should look like little girls.
