Indirect light is correct. Never let them dry out. When they feel a little dry take them to the kichen or bathroom and paces them a dish of water, Let them take all the water they want. Then let them drain and take them back to their home. I feed my ivies only once a month with Miracle Gro house plant food. Too much fertilizer can stress the plants. I feed less often during the winter months,, Most house plants need a resting period.

I find that my ivy does best in a north or east window, which is fairly indirect. I give the pots a good watering once per week; more often in winter when humidity is low. I have never had a problem watering from the top. Misting them with water from a plastic trigger-spray bottle will encourage new growth. I shear the tips off occasionally to keep plants looking tidy (clippings can be saved to root new cuttings in a glass of water).

I feed every other watering and water about once a week. Never water from the top. Pour the water into the plate that the container is in and let it take up what it needs. If any water is left in the plate after a period of time, dump the water.

i've got had fairly distinctive success with Weeping Fig (Ficus benjamina). they are very small trees (in basic terms approximately 6 inches to start up yet will strengthen taller and wider if allowed). they choose a great number of image voltaic and water a pair cases each and every week. they are very hardy and would flow without water for some week if mandatory. it is likewise somewhat hassle-free to tell while you're right looking after them through fact they react to any stresses with the help of dropping leaves (mine dropped its leaves for some week as quickly as I moved and as quickly as I did no longer water it for some week and a nil.5). So, i wish this helps.
